Speechagain, a Berlin-based digital speech therapy start-up for stutter treatment, won the top honor #1 in the start-up competition at the HIMSS Vienna Digital Health conference. HIMSS, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, is the biggest digital health society in the world. Speechagain beat out 9 other finalist start-ups to take the crown.
The competition’s jury lauded the solution and its potential to impact tens of millions of patients globally. Rainer Herzog, Managing Director of HIMSS Europe, highlighted the solution’s proven clinical evidence as well as the depth and expertise of Speechagain’s medical and therapy teams. Bernhard Göbl, board member and General Manager of Healthcare at Deloitte highlighted the business model’s precise and consistent focus.
